Description
The meeting point is at our stables, in the heart of this celebrated equestrian town, where you will make the acquaintance of your horse and help saddle up, before we ride into the Maisons-Laffitte park and the Saint-Germain forest. We will explore this exceptional and historical area, including the only gallop race horse training centre in the Ile-de-France region.
Program
Welcome ! You can borrow a helmet and half chaps on arrival.
You will learn how to interact with your horse and also how to prepare and groom it before riding. This part is very important as you create a relationship to the horse you are going to ride.
Saddle up and get on your horse ! Introduction in our arena to understand how to communicate with your horse ; your position, how to make the horse walk, turn and stop.
Outdoor ride along the beautiful bridle ways in the Maisons-Laffitte park or in the Saint-Germain forest
Horse care
Debrifing over a coffee, tea or juice and cakes
Dress code : We recommend horse riding breeches, riding boots or jodhpur boots with half chaps. If you do not have any equestrian material you could also wear comfortable pants or jeans, boots or shoes with small heels. Depending on the weather ; T-shirt, rain jacket, warm jacket, ….Helmet is mandatory and can be borrowed at the barn. We can also lend you half chaps.
